Introduction Question 04: Promise of help!

At the end of 2013, the Italian press gave the news of who would be the new members of the Board of Eni and made their bets on who would occupy the position of CEO. I started writing to these people to tell my story that would complete 12 long years in that year!

Only one of these professionals replied to my email. It was Mr. Luigi Zingales, who served as economic advisor to the Italian government. Despite the Italian nationality, Mr. Zingales has been living in the USA for over 20 years and is an economics professor at the University of Chicago. In his email, he stated that he already knew my story and would do his best to help me (Doc. 01), if he was confirmed at Eni’s Shareholders Meeting, which happened in May 2014.

Some time later, in another email (Doc. 02), professor Zingales stated that he was “working in silence” in my favor. Weeks later, we were together in Brazil, when he came to launch one of his books (Doc. 03). However, fifteen days after our meeting, professor Zingales resigned from his post at the Board of Eni because of “irreconcilable differences with his peers of the Board of Eni regarding how it should be the company’s management” (Doc. 04).

Questions 04:

4-A) Did the Board of Eni know that Mr. Zingales knew my story and was willing to intercede for me before the other members of the Board of the company? 

4-B) What were these “irreconcilable differences with his peers of the Board of Eni regarding how it should be the company’s management” that made Mr. Luigi Zingales resign from the position of non-executive director of the Board of Eni? 

4-C) Was one of these “irreconcilable differences” the fact that Mr. Luigi Zingales tried to help me with the Board of Eni? 

I am Eni's Whistleblower that suffers "retaliation" from this company until today.

There will be a total of "15 questions" which, in these 17 years, Eni has not yet answered.
